Ember Fracture takes inspiration from traditional character action games (Ninja Gaiden, Devil May Cry) and spices them up with the DNA of fast-paced shooters (Ultrakill, Doom Eternal). The unique combat system hits a sweet spot between player expression and challenge:

• Teleport in ANY direction whenever you want to confuse the hell out of enemies
• Cancel melee animations with zero-frame ranged attacks and instantly continue the offense
• Slow down time to boost your damage output and defy gravity
• Face hordes of blood-thirsty monsters who will not go easy on you and will not let you cheese them with parries or i-frames
• ...And annihilate them with cold-blooded strategy and perfectly executed air combos. Offense is your defense.

You're a soldier trapped in Yekaterinburg, a city cut off from the world and overrun by Embers, creatures bursting from fractures in the earth.

This is a demo version, and your response will help me decide if it should grow into a full game with more levels, enemies, mechanics and a proper story.

It is technically supported, but the game was designed with keyboard&mouse in mind. And button icons are always shown as if you are using an Xbox controller.
